Our research process
Every guide, comparison, and review on this site is built from publicly available information: manufacturer product pages and specification sheets, published safety standards, publicly accessible parent reviews, and reputable parenting and consumer publications. We do not present ourselves as a testing laboratory, and we do not claim hands-on testing that has not occurred.
What we will never do
- Invent product specifications, weights, or measurements.
- Fabricate reviewer quotes, testimonials, awards, or certifications.
- Cite medical professionals who did not contribute to the content.
- Publish statistics without a traceable source.
- Accept payment from brands for placement, ranking, or favorable coverage.
How we make recommendations
When we recommend a product, it is because it performs well against published criteria relevant to that category — absorbency claims from the manufacturer, material composition, sizing availability, price positioning, and aggregated parent-reported experience. When information is limited or unclear, we say so rather than guess.
Review process
Every page passes through a review step before publication, checking claims against sources, tone against our standards, and compliance against our affiliate and advertising policies. Pages carry an "Updated" date that reflects the most recent substantive review.
Updating and corrections
Product formulations, packaging, availability, and pricing change frequently. We periodically revisit pages and update them when we identify new information.
